Yom Kippur -- September 18 (High Holy Day & Fast Day)
Sukkot -- September 23 & 24 (Holy Days)
Shmini Atzeret -- September 30 (Holy Day)
Simchat Torah -- October 1 (Holy Day)
Chanukah  --  December 2-9 (Festival)
Tu B'Shevat --  January 20 (Festival)
Purim  --  March 17 (Festival)
Passover  --  March 19-26 (8 days; March 19, 20, 25 & 26 are Holy Days)
Yom Hashoah May 1 (Remembrance of the Holocaust)
Yom Ha'atzma'ut May 9 (Israel Independence Day)
Lag B'omer  --  May 22 (Festival)
Shavuot  --  June 8 & 9 (Holy Days)
 
** Jewish holidays begin at sundown the day before the date that is shown 
 
Days indicated as Holy Days are days on which observant Jews do not work or engage in commerce of any kind, travel, or write.

Shabbat:

 

The Jewish Sabbath begins Friday evening and lasts until Saturday evening.  Observant Jews do not work or travel on the Sabbath.
