The Decalogue Society of Lawyers was founded in 1934 to promote justice in society and to advance and improve the law, administration of justice and legal profession.

  1. Judicial Evaluation - The Judicial Evaluation Committee is member of the Alliance of Bar Associations for Judicial Screening, providing fair and impartial reviews of judicial candidates.

  2. Legal Education - The Decalogue Society of Lawyers is an accredited MCLE provider providing 16 or more classes during the year on a wide array of legal topics.

  3. Events - During the year, Decalogue hosts many events including our Annual Meeting and Judicial Reception, along with working with other organizations to develop relationships within the legal community.

  4. Employment - We strive to help our members develop their careers by offering them unique job and networking opportunities.

  5. Community Service - Decalogue members deliver food to the needy for the holidays, organize holiday parties for the elderly, confront anti-Semitism, and monitor legislation that pertains to our mission of human rights, support of Israel, and religious freedom.

Professional Development

Decalogue is committed to assisting law students and its members in finding employment and internships. Come back to this page for more information about mentoring, networking and job referrals.

In the spirit of L'dor v' dor, Decalogue encourages it's experienced members to take a mentoring role with younger attorneys and law students. If you are a member (attorney or law student) who wants to be a mentor or mentee or both (attorneys with less than 5 years experience) please sign up here. Matching of mentors and mentees will occur at least once a year depending on the level of interest.  Mentors are free to sign up for more than once if they feel that they have the time and attention to do so.

Decalogue members, sign up for our mentorship program here
